CSS World Awards Winners 2006

The announcement day is here. First of all, we would like to say THANKS to the judges, sponsors and the high level in terms of nominees that we think have been high. That's why we had to apply different rules to award some sites that were tied.

For the next year we will work harder and better with all your help, the valuable help from our visitors.

Scoring criteria for the winners in each category

Each member of the judges has chosen the 3 websites they considered the best in each category:

1º position in each category - 3 points

2º position in each category - 2 points

3º position in each category - 1 point

Criteria to untie websites in each category

Due to some websites having same score and to the multiple ties by category, CSS Mania has set 5 criterias.

(A). If there are tied websites in terms of points, the untied website will be the one that has received more first positions (3 points) in that category from the judges.

(B). If there are still tied websites, the untied website will be the one that has been awarded more times in other categories.

(C). If there are still tied websites, we will add the points that websites have obtained in other categories.

(D). If there are still tied websites, we will analyze validation errors from the screenshot URL in CSS Manía.

(E). If there are still tied websites, it will be "ex aequo". That's why we will really have tied websites in the same place and the award will go to both of them.
